I’ve been creating a series that works through Proverbs 30 line by line in a surreal/abstract graphite style. The 25th drawing in the series was based on the text of Proverbs 30:18, which says:
There are three things which are too wonderful for me,
Four which I do not understand:
There wasn’t a whole lot of concrete imagery to work with here, but a visual still came to mind and I ran with it.
Name: Wonderful and Unknown Things
Dimensions: 5″ x 7″—about the size of a greeting card
Materials: Hard pencil on sketch paper
Series: The 25th drawing in the Proverbs 30 series
I’ve been working on this series for over a year now, and am proud of how it’s turning out. I’ll most likely finish it before 2016 ends.
